About the Journal

Aims and Scope

IJAHP is a scholarly journal that publishes papers about research and applications of the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) and Analytic Network Process(ANP), theories of measurement that can handle tangibles and intangibles; these methods are often applied in multicriteria decision making, prioritization, ranking, and resource allocation, especially when groups of people are involved. The journal encourages research papers in both theory and application AHP/ANP and extensions, integration with other MCDM methodologies, the Internet of Things (IoT), and big data analytics, especially prescriptive analytics. Empirical investigations, comparisons, and exemplary real-world applications in diverse areas are particularly welcome.

Any visitor to this site can browse the abstracts, read the contents and download the PDF files if you want to be informed about the new issues and the AHP/ANP news you need to be a registered user.  Registration is free for authors, reviewers, and readers in general, and your contact information will only be used to inform you when a new issue is published. Most importantly, there is no article processing charge for the authors, publications are free of charge since IJAHP production is subsidized by the Creative Decisions Foundation, established in 1996 by Thomas L. Saaty and his wife Rozann Whitaker Saaty with the purpose of educating people in the world to help them make more rational decisions.

Message from the Editor-in-Chief

Our IJAHP's most recent issue has been published. I am also glad to announce that IJAHP will be joining the global movement toward greater transparency and replicability. For this reason, authors submitting manuscripts to this journal will need to include a Data Availability Statement at the end of the manuscript, stating that the Data from their study are available upon request. In addition, authors will be required to upload the dataset used in the study, along with the submission files, for editorial and review purposes. Also, for survey studies, authors will be required to include the questionnaire(s) used as a separate file and include a sample of the questions as an appendix in the manuscript.

Current Issue

The purpose of this call for papers is to collect a high-quality selection of papers presented at the ISAHP2024 virtual conference (https://www.isahp.org) that will take place Dec. 13-15, 2024. IJAHP is the official AHP/ANP scholarly, SCOPUS-indexed online journal (https://www.ijahp.org),  that publishes papers about research and applications of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Analytic Network Process (ANP). The IJAHP journal will support the ISAHP2024 meeting by offering a fast-track1 publication opportunity for suitable papers. Our intention is to publish these papers as early as possible and as soon as they are available, if accepted for publication, after completing the usual  rigorous review process. When an author submits a paper to our IJAHP site (https://www.ijahp.org), it should be formatted according to the journal requirements, explained in the author guidelines, and uploaded to IJAHP "Special Topics" (not "Articles" or "Essays"). Also, there is a "Comments to the Editor" place for  the author to indicate that the study was presented in ISAHP 2024.
